Lightning Network Daemon

BTCPay Server
BTCPay Server is a free and open-source cryptocurrency payment processor which allows you to receive payments in Bitcoin (on-chain and via the Lightning Network) and altcoins directly, with no fees, transaction cost or a middleman.
Ledger
Ledger is a hardware wallet that can be used to buy, stake, swap, and manage cryptocurrencies. It is used primarily as a signer for multisig wallets and for placing funds in cold storage.
Strike
Strike uses Bitcoin technology to offer instant payments globally, with no added transaction fees. Strike is used as an on-off ramp to traditional banking, and serves as an easy to use Lightning wallet for transactions.
Sparrow Wallet
Sparrow is a Bitcoin wallet for those who value financial self sovereignty. Sparrow’s emphasis is on security, privacy and usability. Sparrow takes users on a privacy journey from using public servers to using cold storage techniques on private servers.
Vaultwarden
Vaultwarden is a lightweight and secure password manager for storing and auto-filling sensitive information such as usernames and passwords, credit cards, identities, and notes. All data is stored in an encrypted vault on the Start9 Embassy.
Thunderhub
ThunderHub is an open-source LND node manager where you can manage and monitor your node on any device or browser. It allows you to take control of the lightning network with a simple and intuitive UX and the most up-to-date tech stack.
Blue Wallet
A Bitcoin wallet and Lightning wallet for iOS and Android, it can be used for receiving, sending and storing Bitcoin. Within K&D, it acts as an intermediary wallet between day-to-day transactions using Strike and cold-storage using either Sparrow or Ledger.
NOSTR
Nostr stands for "Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays". It is a protocol; an open standard upon which K&D hosts our own relay. Nostr is designed for simplicity and enables censorship-resistant and globally decentralized publishing on the web.
Electrs
Electrs enables K&D to self host an Electrum server; which indexes the entire Bitcoin blockchain, resulting in fast queries while preserving privacy of the users addresses and balances.
Mempool
Mempool is the fully featured visualizer, explorer, and an open source project developed and operated for the benefit of the Bitcoin community, with a focus on the emerging transaction fee market to help our transition into a multi-layer ecosystem. K&D uses it for administration and tracking purposes.
JPG.store
JPG Store is the largest Cardano NFT marketplace. K&D uses the marketplace to host secondary sales of our NFTs. In time, we will work to create our own marketplace - Catholica Mercatus - and resales will take place in-house.
Collections - Councils
A K&D NFT grants access to K&Dao, proposal-voting-funding rights, admission to related Councils, secondary marketplace opportunities, and other benefits as voted on by the community. The proceeds of each Collection will create a Treasury for each Council.
Nextcloud
Nextcloud offers a modern, on-premises content collaboration platform with real-time document editing, video chat & groupware on mobile, desktop and web. K&D uses the app to share files, calendars, contacts, mail & more from any device, with K&D team members.
Bitcoin Core
Bitcoin is an innovative payment network and a new kind of money. Bitcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority or banks; is open-source; its design is public, nobody owns or controls Bitcoin and everyone can take part. K&D runs our own full Bitcoin node.
Projects
3C (Catholic Crypto Commerce)
3C is an alternative payment system to traditional fiat utilizing the Bitcoin blockchain and Lightning Network. It combines a number of technologies to provide a censorship-resistant, self-hosted environment free from constraints of third parties.
Trad Cats
The Trad Cats project establishes the first K&D Bengal cattery. Each kitten will have an ownership NFT minted on the Cardano blockchain showing TICA registration and bloodlines. The NFTs, and ownership of kittens, will be auctioned to K&D members and delivered to their new family.
Perspicua Caritas
Perspicua Caritas will be a fully transparent charitable system viewable on the blockchain. Donors will be able to track their donations for K&Dao approved projects from beginning to end, with verifiable results. The system will utilize K&D’s infrastructure for transparency and censorship resistance.
Catholica Mercatus
To assure economic participation, K&D will create their own digital marketplace called Catholica Mercatus. It will provide a self-hosted avenue of trading for K&D members utilizing the Cardano blockchain, while securing Catholics access to commercial activities.
TOC
The K&D TOC is based off of the US Army Signal Corps model of providing, maintaining, and securing digital services. Our TOC focuses on the administrative, configuration, and security tasks required to run a self-sovereign and self-hosted server utilizing services provided by Start9.
Camino de Santiago
The Camino de Santiago is a network of pilgrimages leading to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain. K&D aims to implement our Ecosystem with the various albergues, hotels, and bars found on The Way; enabling crypto use, while leveraging Perspicua Caritas for donors and pilgrims.
